Find Rentals! (50% of the time)

The New York Attorney General recently announced a settlement with FindRentals.com, an online company which allows vacationing homeowners to rent out their properties by posting ads on its website. FindRentals.com was accused of deceptive advertising practices for touting its webpage as the "number one vacation rental site" on Google.com, when in reality the ad only appeared during business hours, or about 50 percent of the time. As part of the settlement, FindRentals.com agreed that it would no longer advertise itself as the number one or leading vacation rental site and agreed to pay $9,000 in restitution.
